I keep seeing these 0% no fee balance transfer credit card deals going smoking hot. For a good few years now I’ve managed to dodge the balance transfer fee and given myself an interest free loan by using the 0% option on new credit cards, which is handed out quite often and last a lot longer, see link of Santander’s 26 month option.
All you do is to apply for your new credit card and link it to your own PayPal account. Send your friend, wife, partner or someone you trust the amount you want to borrow using the friends and family option. That way there’s no PayPal charges.
They receive the money into their PayPal account, then send the 3k back to your PayPal account on a new transaction and you then withdraw the money back to the bank account already linked to your PayPal account. The credit card company sees PayPal as a purchase and not a cash withdrawal and you have an interest free loan.santander.co.uk/per…rds
