iPhone 4s refurbed from Barclaycard- ADVICE PLEASE

I just want to know if this is a good deal or not. I posted it as a deal but apparently the supplier is 'banned' but they seem ok to me, I trust Barclaycard.

For the money does this phone sound like a good deal? I know NOTHING about iPhones !!

Thanks

PS I am in no means promoting this as a deal blah blah etc... I just want advice if the product, is good for the money or not

Thanks

Not really a good deal. Can pick an iPhone 5 up for not much more, although that would be second hand and you would have to trust the person you buy from.

£190 for an iPhone 4S 16gb is way too much. If you want one of these then use one of the trusted Ebay sellers, there are plenty of genuine companies on there that give you a full 12 month warranty for about £150.

Here is an example for the white one at £152 but you can get them cheaper: ebay.co.uk/itm…f9d

Not worth it may as well add an extra £30-£40 for an Iphone 5.

Thanks for the advice guys I'll give it a miss then.

Hope I can pick up a 4s soon

I would trust a company like smartfonestore more. I haven't used them but they have a good reputation. I would expect that they're thorough enough with refurbs

hmm so difficult IDK what to do. My phones on its last legs... get another cheapo £60 android crap.. or find a decent sub £200 iPhone 4s deal soon!!

As already mentioned Smartfonestore are very good, their returns are brilliant, no quibble!

They have some grade B iPhone 4S for £149.99 but don't let grade B put you off. From what I have read the grade B is very good condition and if you are not happy they will simply accept it back.

However I see they only do a 60 day warranty.

For me I would go with one of the reputable Ebay companies that offer a full 12 month warranty on fullt refurbished iPhone 4S for about £150. You can't go wrong to be honest, especially now that the PayPal guarantee has been extended to something like 6 months.

I bought my 4s from eBay a couple of months ago for 100, was in perfect condition. Worth shopping around in the used market.

£180 grade A sim free from smartfonestore
smartfonestore.com/fil…spx
out of stock but set up an email alert, you will eventually get notified.

i'm hesitant about 2nd hand iPhones from private sellers due to the potential for fraud. if they don't sign out of iCloud (guessing that affects 4S and its software) or is blocked by the network, you have an expensive brick. the extra from a trusted source gives you piece of mind. I wouldn't trust bespoke, although they're backed by barclays, who knows what their return policy, dedication to customer service and partner's (mighty deals) attention to detail is?

also it's £6 more

unfortunately the equivalent iPhone 5 is £80 more. I'd recommend that but there is a big price jump (almost 50%)

Thanks I've put a stock notification on both the white and black ones.

The only thing a bit worrying is 60 days warranty rather than full 6 month

I have a 4s on orange good condition with charger, box, sim removal and instructions for £128 delivered special delivery , if that helps

I am looking for unlocked sorry...

Typical, whilst I was out they sent an email, about 4.30pm, to say its available in stock to order (the grade A that is) .... Got home just now and went to order... showing OOS... me thinks this store is taking the pee somehow
