Cheapest repair for iPhone 5swater damage in London or where I can send it away. Would appreciate it as I don't fancy buying my son a new phone

not sure about repair places but have you put it in rice or whatever the suggestions are for water damage? Also if the phone is insured you can prob get a new handset for the excess (I only suggest this cos daughter dropped hers down the toilet recently ....) and claimed on her insurance.

I've used these they come to you at time and place suits you. Also no fix no fee, how long has your phone been water damaged?

It needs to be taken apart and washed in Isopropyl, to prevent corrosion. Pretty much any iPhone repair shop should be able to do that for £30 - £40. As for repairing an actual fault with it, that is just not economical.

An iPhone 5s 16GB in good condition is £130 on O2 PAYG + £10 top-up + £10 SIM unlock (if you are not on O2).

Any company would get good feedback from a site they pay to advertise on wouldn't they?!?

Certainly one of the podcasts I listen to still gives it good feedback despite not being sponsored by them anymore. I believe Steve Litchfield (who has run the Phones Show podcast for over a decade) has used him for an iPhone repair for his family too. I can't vouch for them directly as I would only personally use Apple for a repairs but I was just saying that I've heard good things and I know he does mail-in repairs using Special Delivery.
