Hi guys, I'm after a bit of advice.

I may be getting a 2nd hand iphone from my sister's boyfriend (after he upgrades, he loves it!) but can't decide what to do for a contract.

I'm currently with vodafone who are now calling me every few days about upgrading since i only have 2 months to go on an 18 month contract.
At the moment they're offering to half my line rental (currently £35 for 700 mins, 250 txt and unlimited web) on a 12 month contract.

I'm also considering an O2 simplicity deal, in particular the 12 month one for £20 a month (800 mins, unlimited txt plus one bolt on, prob unlimited web).

If i stay with vodafone and unlock the iphone will i have full funtionality? As far as i understand, the only thing missing will be visual voicemail?

Alternatively if i take out an O2 deal which isn't specifically for the iphone is there anything i need to do?

The iPhone is only fully supported by O2.

If you have a none iPhone contract with O2 the same applys, you need an O2 iphone contract to get everything working.
