iPhone X advice.

Found 14th Jun 2018
Any constructive views on whether this is a good retention deal from Vodafone? I do use Spotify so has to be in the contract hence the Voda as carrier.

Does this sound extortionate? Thanks in advance...

iPhone X 64GB
unlimited minutes and text
42GB data (32GB plus 10GB bonus)
PLUS 24 month entertainment package to one of the following
-Now TV entertainment
-Sky sports mobile
-Spotify premium
- Amazon Prime Video
£49.70 a month (should be £71 a month)
£185 upfront (should be £299 upfront)
Community Updates
£1360 over 24 months = 56

42gb data lets assume this would cost ~£30/m
now entertainment ~£5/m (based on £27 for 6months bundle)
Sky Sports mobile £5.99/m
Spotify £10/m
Prime Video £7.99/m (that would be with amazon prime normally)

that means you are paying ~£16-20/m for a phone

it is a reasonable deal. although not sure how I would feel to have a phone that will be superseded in next few months

also considering I could have similar deal (less of 10GB) data for £60 with |£49upfront after including my NHS discount I dont think it is such a good deal now.
Don’t know if it’s any help but somebody has posted Apple are doing there 0% finance deal again direct so you could buy phone and get sim only deal save yourself some money!
