iPod help needed to burn a disc

    Hi Guys!!!

I need some help to get my music from my iPod onto a disc, is it possible? The music is not on my iTunes, well not all of it anyway-that would be easy to sort, but I want to get the stuff off of my iPod and onto a disc.

What have you got out there to help me?

    Cheers

try yamipod its always worked for me

to play the cd on what? if you burn the mp3s then many regular cd players wont play em, you need to convert them to wav and then burn (use Nero)

And use copypod to get the music off your ipod in the first place.

as above use yamipod. this will allow you to copy the stuff off your ipod onto your pc and then you can simply burn it to disk

If you can get them onto windows media player, you can easily burn them from there.

    Instructions:
Download a copy of iPod Access
-It allows you to import songs from your iPod to your PC to a directory of your choice
    Insert blank CD-R into drive
    Open Windows Media Player
    Click the "Burn" tab
From the chosen directory, drag the songs you want on the CD to the "Burn List"
    Click "Start Burn"

    mp3..

wrong. "normal" music for cd players is wav. see my post earlier, saying you need to convert the mp3 to wav before you burn to cd. Bear in mind that you will only get 10 - 15 songs on a cd in wav format.

Normal file type varies, could be mp3, wav, aac, wma
But once the songs are burnt onto the CD, they should be cda file (I think).

omg how the hell do i change the files?

search for mp3 to wav converter, then burn those wavs to cd and enjoy in your car

just remember to change the output to wav

What? You don't have to do that!

All the usual CD burning programs automatically converts your song file type to the CD filetype.

eg Windows Media Player, Nero, Roxio, even the bog standard windows explorer one does it for you!!!!

There's more than one way to skin a cat.
The OP is obviously having trouble burning a cd directly from his(her?) mp3 format, so by manually converting them in an easy method makes his(her?).
    life that little bit easier.

Sorry I meant mp3 if the format for the ipod.
