Ipod Touch 2nd Gen Question

I have just bought an Ipod touch 2nd Gen, i have it synced to my pc but every now and then it will beep, it's the same beep as when you plug it in to charge.

Does anyone know how to turn this off? I've looked in sounds but could only see mail and contact alert sounds.

You could try turning the volume all the way down?

I can't think why it would beep randomly. Does a message (a push notification) appear on the screen when it makes the sound? If it does, you can turn push notifications off in the settings - or you can control push notifications for individual apps in the app settings page...

they are apps that came on the ipod so dont think you can delete them, might be able to deselect them on itunes on the pc when you choose to what apps to have on the ipod.

as for the bleep mine does it when i receive a new email in the mail client that comes with the ipod.

Yeah i spoke to soon, it didn't cure it, found out the beep is when it is charging, the lead is a bit touch and go thats why sometimes it beeps when it wants to

if you go on settings and then nike+, you can remove it from the screen. just go back on the settings menu if you want to put it back on.
