    iPod touch applications

Have splashed out £160 to treat myself to a new ipod touch

I should be getting it on Tuesday, when i get it, will it need jailbreaking to put applications on it? I heard that they do, but then i also heard that newer ones don't need anything doing to them to run applications...

What applications would you recommend putting on it, do you have any favourites etc?

    Anyone?

If you visit ]http//ww…ps/ from your iPod Touch you'll be able to add 'web apps' to your homescreens...

For actual 'apps' if you want 'til about the 15th June iTunes update is due. It is expected you will need to purchase a 'software update' package for about £15 and will be able to install free and priced apps (such as games etc).
