Is a 980ti worth an upgrade from a 970

Found 29th Dec 2017
I got a 980ti hybrid for 225£
And the Msi 970 would fetch 150
Is it a worthwhile upgrade

Must of inverted the can and froze the casing whilst hot. One of the reasons I use a PC dust blower. Canned air is really only any good for cooling ics/transistors with thermal heat issues as a quick fault finding solution.

Awesome find for that price though. I'm still stuck with r9 290 because so much BS about which GPU is better. I thought the 1060 6GB was equiv to a gtx 980 but some reckon an overcclocked 290x can match it in some places.

I can't see Volta dropping prices either as people don't seem to bothered about dropping £600 on a 1080ti so £800 seems an entry for them.
I'll probably grab a 1080 once they drop below £400
