making excuses?

Can't stand fat kids or parents that feel sorry for them..

IT'S YOUR OWN FAULT!!

the 10 year old has to have a problem ( biological) not making excuses but, fair enough he is fat 17st is way to big, but to be 6ft at his age is unheard of....... see what i am getting at?

I love the way she said that even when she had put him on a strict diet he didn't lose any weight!! Was the strict diet only a day in duration!

it is not to do with height my son is over 6ft and just turned 15 the youngest one is only 8 and could pass for 11 easily so no height has nothing to do with it and it is not unheard of! my kids are all very athletic and doing sports and eating normally, good stuff!

she was saying on a dayout with him oh there is a bag of chips as a treat but she was also quick to delve in! not much encouragement to him is it especially as she is overweight herself!

OMG how much salt? my children dont have any salt at all added to their food by me. Different family now!
Whatever happened to 3 meals a day and small snacks these kids are eating constantly and sitting around all day.
My children know they eat at breakfast, lunch and diner and htey have a snack before they go to bed, at the moment its raisins and cucumber!
If you encourage you children to eat whenever they are peckish they will never stop eating.

Going back to the 10 year old. The mother described chips to her son as a "treat" isn't fresh food and lovely fruit a treat?

I am not saying height is a factor, but being 6ft at 10 is a bit excessive is it not?! i am 6ft 2 and work in a secondary school, and only a few of the older kids reach my height, this child is still in yr 5/6 so he is very very very tall for his age.......

all my brothers are tall and it looks as though my sons are following as my oldest is above 6ft and as i said so is the youngest and thats always been a problem for us as i need to carry his passport with us as proof of id because he is so older looking (which is the way the younger one is going) the middle one is just normal!

There's a bit of a difference between a 10 year old being 6ft and a 15 year old. I've never heard of a 10 year old that tall, but have come across 15 years old that tall.
