Im trying to sell my monitor but am offered really low prices(under 1/3 what it is new) and cant afford to lose that much.

My local freecycle regularly offers pcs and often they are pentium 4s 2-3 ghz and 512mb-1 gig of ram and Windows XP Home or Pro included and COA.

So if I get one of these and sold it with the monitor(just a few quid more for the pc postage) do you think I will get the price I want for my monitor£65 for a Phillips VGA DVI 5ms response)

Lol thats funny

Most people who use freecycle seem to be the ones that do just that for some strange reason.

Boo and Hiss?

Or sell for profit?

Seems to be as I notice anything of real value seems to go really fast, be it a sofa, tv, dvd player whatever they go within minutes of listing. and its normally the first person to collect which is a pain if you dont have own car.

Yeah I asked if anyone had an old chair I could have since my new room only has a pc chair which is hard to relax on and watch films and got offered a 3 month old 3 seater IKEA sofa! but its too big and I dont drive so had to turn it down

Also was offered a few other 2 seater settess which are quite new.

Think its just time of year.

A lot of the listings are from people redecorating houses.

The Ikea sofa was funny though as they guy didnt want it as he said all the furniture in the room is the same colour as the walls and the sofa was a different colour so didndt want it.

Did a google search and the sofas about £350 new!

what size monitor is it mate?
