Is it a great Deal for Microsoft Office?

Can anyone help? I came across this site while searching for the best deal for Microsoft Office:-

they are selling Microsoft Office 2007 Professional for £31.99. Can you beleive it? Is it a scam? Has anyone else used this company? The nearest I have got to this deal is QVC for £63.24 and it is only for a Student Version.
They say in their blurb that you don't get the box..........but who needs the box if you get that software for that price

Would think it's a copy or manufacturers edition ie not for sale to the public.
The one at QVC isn't pro anyway.
The full Office 2007 pro is about £300.

No way can this be legitimate ! NO WAY !!!
Avoid like the plague............................

EDIT:
A quick Google brings up this thread on MSE straight away
forums.moneysavingexpert.com/sho…416

and that's without digging any deeper.

OP can I suggest you edit your post and take the link out otherwise someone won't be able to resist losing their money

same as hotto - steer clear.

Thanks, hottoshop, t0mm and JDeal.......................I thought it was to good to be true. Thats why I came here to ask if anyone else knew this Web Site. I didn't purchase but I see I wasn't the only one who was taken in by these con artists. At least I didn't pay any money like some did on the moneysavingexpert.com web site. The Web site looks like the real deal with Paypal and Visa mentioned on it.
Thanks again..............
Oh by the way I know that the QVC version isn't the Pro version........it's the Student Version.....my two daughters are students....so I can buy it for them

Hold off on buying them anything until they can speak to their uni or college's IT department. Some are MSDN members, and can get free software for their students.

just use www.openoffice.org its what I use, and its very good

If you work for the NHS (or other big companies that have an "enterprise agreement" with Microsoft) you can get MS office for under £20. I know this doesn't apply to everyone but neither do the student deals.....

My g/f is an occupational therapist for the NHS and uses my (legit) Office. However, she's broken three of my computers in the last 18 months and i've got a nice setup now that I don't want to let her near. What department is she going to need to ask about this in? Please reply, she's got to do a powerpoint presentation next month...!
