speaking of sales DFS have just started one so worth popping down to your local.
Every shop has an all year round sale.

Think the last genuine sale for anyone was around 1979

The good old days of when adverts were little stories and programs weren't sponsored from everything from femipads to cars are long gone
what about the 4 mash get smashed
Well, a sale at Dreams is bed-der than nothing.
When I went into Dreams the other day I mentioned how the sale won't end, he assured me it would "that Sunday", the mattress I looked at is still in the 'sale' now.

Also, it's worth noting that it was a Sleepeezee 1600 spring mattress, 'reduced' from £1600 to £1300, I found another Sleepeezee mattress with very similar, if not better, specs for £380, with 20% quidco.

How that place is still in business I'll never know

And the fact that only Dreams sell a particular 'model' of mattress, so they will usually be the 'cheapest'
Its strange because years ago my favorite Indian takeaway had a 10% off banner over the shop front for about three months, then the Trading stds people turned up and told them that if their prices had been 10% off for that long they were now the standard prices and the sign must come down ..... Dreams and DFS dont seem to be troubled by that one!
I've recently had dealings with dreams and I now prefer to call them nightmares! Never again
All stores that sell furniture and the like have sales on all the time.

Used to work for MFI as a salesman, and when we finished one "sale" we would have all the labels and posters to start another sale. The sales never finish in this industry.

Oh and never buy for the sales price, the salesman can reduce further... Just ask!

We went in there and liked the Sleepeezee 'Cairo' at £1150 +£35 delivery +£40 extended warranty, and they'd do us a special price if we bought today ! Also in the range was the Cleopatra with 3000 springs, and other Egyptian sounding names. This year they all seem to have changed to political names such as Kennedy and Lincoln, Churchill and Attlee. After a brief chat with someone in the know it appears that the EXACT SAME BED as the 'Cairo' to every other retailer was the 'Backcare Ultimate 2000', which we got for £385, delivered, with 5yr g/tee. I think I might open up a car dealership next to their stores and sell re-badged Ford Fiesta's as Ford Allessia's for £32k. I suppose that's exactly what Aston Martin have done.... astonmartin.com/the…net £30k for a Toyota iQ !
