I think charges are applicable once the threshold of £18 is reached.

You can't post marketplace deals on HUKD.

Asked this to be moved to "Misc".

Make it 17, as once you reach £18 charges are applicable.

You got a link for them?

Thanks for the reply - thesaint, I'd better warn the partner not to be ordering anymore t-shirts from America. We've had to pay out in the past and I'd (incorrectly) informed him that the threshold had been raised and we wouldn't get caught out again!

The Customs duty threshold on goods imported from outside the EU has been raised to £105 from the 1st of December. That doc seems to be outdated.

There's still VAT to pay (VAT and Custom Duty are separate things), and you'll still get hit with processing fees for this by the Royal Mail.

Yep Royal Mail charge a processing fee of £8 if a postie can deliver it. But if it's a large item/box they pass it on to Parcelforce who charge around £14! I've got stung twice now so don't really bother buying abroad any more.

Im phoning them up to see if it is a misprice

A link or a name would be nice... I've checked through Amazon US and while I can find cards at a price that'll come to £1, I can't find any that have free shipping. . .

    Hi people

Yes phoned them first thing their morning. About 13.00 hrs our time I asked if this was the correct price to which I got Yes...Of course it is sir?!?!? As if I was some thick idiot!! I explained to him the situation and he said someone will phone you back in the next half hour. I explained i was in the UK and he said I know?!?!?
After an hour I got a phone call from this happy go lucky sales guy from the company who was trying to sell me each unit for $4.39 + postage. After trying to interupt him he kept giving me this sales speil about how it was a good price, I had to then shout over him to explain that it was free shipping and Amazon had given me it for free worldwide shipping and a rediculous unit price....He kept saying "No, Sir , No,sir our unit price is incorporated with the shipping price. It wasn't until he checked it they made a mistake and he realised what a dumb Yank he was.................I said good day to you SIR!!!!

And the moral of the story..................It was too good to be true people!!!!

well do you really think mem cards would be for a £1 each? its common sense

even if they did they would be fakes

why anyone uses marketplace i dont know i might set one up and sting stupid people as there seems to be alot here!
