Is my camera broken for good or have I altered something by mistake??

My Samsung Olympius camera now has lines running through every new picture I take. It's like looking at it through sun blinds! I don't know if it's just gone wrong or if something has been altered by accident on the camera. All the previous pictures on the camera still look perfect. If anyone knows of this problem and whether it can be solved, I would really appreciated some advice, many thanks

I take it you mean that the lines are there on the camera screen when you look at the picture? - and are they still there (in the picture) if you transfer the picture to a pc and look at it?

My Fuji started to do that, no idea what it was but it had to go back to them for a fix...

can you post a test picture?

after a bit googling......

Basically, lines on photo's or over exposed pictures in daylight are due to the shutter not closing over the lens completely.

It is a mechanical fault due to dirt/ grease or moisture on the shutter leafs sticking them together.
