Is PS+ content carried between subscriptions on PS3?

I'm signed up to PS+ at the moment but my subscription runs out in a few days but I don't want to renew it until february. I was wondering if I will lose the content I already have when it runs out.

By that I mean, will it just deactivate and then reactivate when I re-subscribe in february, or will I completely lose all the stuff I've downloaded so far.
Thanks

It stays; but won't launch. It will just prompt you to resubscribe upon attempt.

You will get access to everything back when you resubscribe.

Awesome, thanks both

Just be careful if you have two (master) accounts on the same console; ensure you renew with the same PlayStation Network account that was used for the then expired, previous "PlayStation Plus" subscription.

@hero9989 - I'm not sure that I have given you the correct information.

fanpages has just pointed out the terms and conditions of PS+ on another thread, and they state the following:

TERMS OF SERVICE AND USER AGREEMENT, Version 4.7 (December 2010)Type 1. … TERMS OF SERVICE AND USER AGREEMENT, Version 4.7 (December 2010)Type 1. You will still be able to access and use the following PlayStation Plus Elements after your Subscription Period expires, provided that you downloaded them before expiry:* Premium avatars* Premium themes* Game add-onsType 2. You will no longer be able to access and use the following PlayStation Plus Elements after your Subscription Period expires, even if you downloaded them before expiry:* PlayStation®Network games* PS one® games* minis* Premium game elementsIf you do not renew your subscription immediately at the end of each Subscription Period, but later renew your subscription, you may lose your rights to access any Type 2 PlayStation Plus Elements...

I genuinely thought that all content was carried over upon resubscription. I am sure that I have read comments by Sony employees to that effect, but this wouldn't be the first time that Sony has spun PS+ users a yarn, only to go back on what they said.

This is my understanding too, but as FP and FC both say, the actual T&C are different and uses the word "may"
