Is Royal Mail collect from home still free for 'Signed For' letters?

Checked the website and it shows the promotion for parcels but won't say for letters if you haven't paid for postage already.

Click and Drop still showing free collections.

Promo on Tracked discount now extended to 31/1/23 and likely beyond now the International screw up will hit them again in the wallet

Start the collection booking process and then see if there's a charge before confirming?

Couldn't do that. It asks to put in the tracking code before doing any details. If you haven't listed/sold anything on eBay yet (starting with tomorrows discounts) you don't have a code to put in so it couldn't get past the first stage.

Collection for letters is possible? I thought it is only for parcels.

Yep. Had it as free collection for Signed For letters for several months before Christmas. As long as it's a tracked service book home collection just like parcels. Was wonderful for eBay use.

Think it's supposed to be 68p charge for letter collection during non offer periods. (edited)

Looked. Even messaged RM Support Twitter but saw their replies are up to two weeks late.

Parcel's was the focus on the site, large letters ok. The thing is though small letters weren't mentioned where I looked and rivals like Evri actually refuse small letters. So decided to ask. With the ton of people selling on eBay here made sense. (edited)
