Is there a way to move everything from Outlook on XP to Vista or 7 ?

My mates had his pc for about 4 years. He's totally clueless about anything to do with it as he only use it for email and for using Word.

For some unknown reason he wants a new pc but hasn't any idea what his setting or passwords are for his Demon mail account.

Is there a prog that will backup everything to do with outlook and then move it to a clean install of either Vista or windows 7 (mail, setting, password the lot) ??

to recover the password, try nirsoft.net/uti…tml
For the settings, look at the pop and smtp settings in the account, along with the username and write them down ;-)

Once done, recommend exporting the data to a .pst file and can then either be accessed by adding it to the new mailbox on the new computer, or imported into the mailbox

[FONT=Verdana]Assume it's the full blown Microsoft Outlook Client he's using (if so, which version i.e. XP, 2000, 2003, etc) and not the Microsoft Outlook Express Client?

Cheers, Scotty Boy!
