c:\ Documents and settings \ ( your user name)

Copy the favourites folder to a pen drive, put it back after..

That's if you use internet explorer.

    Firefox is a little different

I copy and paste all the folders to my desk top then to a flash drive
There is prob a better way but thats how i do it.
I have XP so when it loads and you get on line you can open a web page copy all folders then paste into favorites.
Do this before updating windows cos dont no how to do in ie7

    in firefox, install xmarks add-on.

syncs your faves with an online server automatically daily and you can access them anywhere on any pc (with password of course!)

    xmarks.com/

works on IE, chrome, safari too although I'm dumbfounded why anyone is still using IE these days lol

    protopage.com

Does not apply to Vista which has dropped the "Documents and Settings" folder.
