I've got an xbox elite (120gb) and noticed you can copy a game from the disc to the hard drive. Seeing as you cant play the game without the disc, is there a point to this?

Faster load times.

less noise

Think it's to make loading up quicker or something ,maybe downloading updates?- don't have a 360 but I've been told why in past...people do find it worth doing anyway.

Less wear on the drive, less noise and faster loading times

might try it over next few days with my most played games. thanks!

Yer the consoles almost silence and the games load quicker - depends on the game mind - ive got games like fifa on there as i play it for 5 hours straight and its better not havin that jet engine on during the game

main games i play are fifa and cod. will deffo have to try this.

Main one for me is noise... but also loads a tiny bit quicker too.

Lots less noise for me using my Elite from HDD. Also, much quicker load times on some games.
