I know the bbc has it's own desktop, but not seen much from the other two. I've tried the following 'http://digiex.net/guides-reviews/guides-tutorials/media-guides/9939-download-rip-save-channel-4-4od-4-demand-content-no-drm-mp4s.html' with 4od but it only seems to work with older episodes of things.

Any help would be much appreciated, as I have many up and coming train and car journey's to sit through.

Note that the title of the thread is "Download / rip / save Channel 4 - 4oD (4 on Demand) Content with no DRM as MP4's"

And... that's what the op wants to do

ITV can be downloaded with the following, I know it's called iPlayer but it does ITV too:

As illegal as VHS

Talking of online viewing, sort of........
Theres an excellent comedy that I have only just recently noticed.
Series almost finished but can view on BBC iplayer.
Getting On. - Watch from the start of the series to get all the ongoing jokes. Absolutely hillarious and only being shown on BBC4 so most people will probably miss it.

Its on series 3. I didnt see the other 2.

I got the impression that older programmes (without Adobe's Real Time Messaging Protocol Encrypted [RTMPE] Digital Rights Management [DRM] protection) were successfully downloaded.

I was just highlighting why the above thread worked for those, & not for later content.

Yes. Meaning you might as well go the whole hog rather than faff around.

takes seconds to download tv shows without messing with browser media ripping

tom-tech.com/ipl…tml seems to be for mac only. Any links to a Windows version? I'm still searching at the moment.
