Why do you need to stop it exactly?

sold wii on ebay, cust paid by paypal, i sent item with tracking as requested, now paypal have closed account as they stated that i am a high risk customer (woman with 3 kids and loads of feedback) didnt give a reason why and are holding my money for 180 day i'm so p***ed off want to refund customer and then take it from there

typical paypal.thats about right. they are getting worse by the minute!!! the sellers have no chance on there! its all for the buyers. and the sellers pay the fees,it stinks!!

yes deffo sure they stated 180 days, have rang them 4 times so far today they will ot give me any explanation why i am a high risk cust, i googled them and that said it all about what a s**t company they are.
they stated if i disagree with anything i have to write to luxemburg and await a reply, but they will not change anything as a customer has 180 days to do a chargeback on thier credit cards.

Depending on the location of the delivery, is it feasible to travel to the address, and hang around outside waiting for the Porcel Farce van?

Then walk towards the property & say something like ""Oh is that my package from ?" Sign for it (using the buyer's name), wave goodbye to the van driver & prepare to leave. If the buyer opens the door pretend you work for Porcel Farce & make some excuse about it being the wrong parcel for this address & walk off like you are going back to your vehicle to get the right one.

Or you could say you are the next-door neighbour & is out so can you take it for her/him?

Hmmm... all this falls down if the delivery driver knows the neighbour or the buyer as they deliver frequently in the area.

Perhaps just ringing their Customer Services team & explain that you have mistakenly packaged-up your engagement ring (or something of a similar sentiment) in the parcel & need to have it returned. Offer to pay costs for return.

That said, you cannot stop a Royal Mail delivery once it is in the system as it is against the ]Postal Services Act (2000).

...and once the item is delivered to an address it becomes the property of the recipient (even if delivered in error) until Court proceedings take place.

I wish you luck; I understand your pain with PayPal. I have chosen not to use them since they backed a buyer over me without listening to reason or taking my account of events into consideration.

Confused? Why?

I meant intercept the package as it is just about to be delivered to the addressee.

Have you considered the legality of "intercepting packages" ?

Might be something to do with this why they have locked you for 180 days.

im having a nightmare with ebay/paypal at the minute, they have suspended my accounts and frozen the cash in paypal (nearly £600), wont unlock anything until i send 2 wiis and 1 sky hd box to customers, ahhh

That'll be the reason then. :-D

I don't think the OP is being straight with us at all. Paypal fees would not add up to £90 for starters.........2 items weren't sent and now this.

I think the sympathy should be with the buyers who had the misfortune of purchasing from them.

i am being completely straight with people, i have refunded 2 customers there money and am travelling to day to take the goods to them for cash on delivery, but 1 item has already been posted and paypal are holding the money for 180 days, i want to retrieve my parcel then refund the customer so we can make alternative arrangements to pay as i have done with the other 2 people, i am not in the busness of ripping people off,

agreed i did work out the paypal fees wrong, but thats not the point, at the minute i am £169.99 out of pocket and will be for 6 months

Not strictly true..........you offered paypal as a method of payment (which you have to do on eBay). They paid and expected their item to be posted only to have to make other arrangements. If one of those people report you then you can also say goodbye to your eBay account.
