    Is there anyway to get your money back when paying by paypal gift ?

    If you buy an item by paypal gift can't the seller just take the money and not send the item ?

    no you cant get it back. and yes if they werent honest yes they could.

    no buyer has no protection, using paypal gift, you can only dispute with your bank/visa to get paypal to stop the money leaving your account

    thats why you should get the details stated in the rules & obviously check feedback

    No buyer has no protection means every buyer has protection

    If buyer accepts money after agreeing a deal with the intention of not sending goods it's fraud so you could reclaim money through small claims court a police if they can be bothered.

    I wouldn't bother with that like most people wouldn't buying small priced items like I do (£5 - £20)

    small claims court is horrendous and its £50 just to file the case I think.

    true, im in scotland, no debt collectors up here lol :whistling: i got scammed other day,:x rubberducky1 paid £7.50 for a game,called pp didnt do anything or couldnt, called bank they stopped transaction went thorugh visa dispute though , hope they catch the little torag!

    my banks ace im with abbey, i called my bank first as soon as i found that it was fraud, they told me to contact pp, thne they told me to contact my bank, i spoke to my bank for a 2nd time , they said i would have to wait fo rth emoney to leave my accoint as it was in auth, called back 3rd as it left account visa refunded me money, currently investigating the matter also:thumbsup:
