Is there such a thing as LED TV or is it LED Back lighting

I can't find any LED TVs only LED backlit televisions. Are there Full LED TV or have I mistaken this whole thing for the backlit technology.

Looked at both links, first link has american prices, second link, typed the model of the samsung on google and all I get is TBC. Has Full LED televisions not reached UK yet?

Everything on sale afaik is backlit led not the highly anticipated oled

You won't find an Oled for sensible money if even at all yet at any decent size.

    LOL

sonys 11inch when it was released came out at £3500 so they will be quite hefty when they are released

I think there are 27inch models available in the US atm but as far as im aware are no larger sizes that are commercially available yet

haha nah I doubt it will work out like that but Id say when they come out they will be costly depends really on how much manufacturing costs are, when they are actually released strength of Pound/Dollar/Yen etc

That's good news to my ears, now I can feel good about buying a 55" led backlit tv, without finding out, a month later oled tv's are going to be released. My mind is at ease.

From those two articles I read, seems like the next time we will be seeing them will be in another 5-10 years lol.
