I’d say no, at that price point it’s an expensive office pc and to cheap no dedicated gpu for gaming. The fact the ram is soldered as well makes it hard to upgrade to 16gb which should be the minimum now a days...
You're paying £565 for a TN panel so no. You should be looking for an IPS panel at that price.

It is not going to be used for gaming at all. It is just for everyday use so Word, YouTube, Web browsing etc.

It is listed as £699 on the main Lenovo page which is ridiculous for TN. I didn't think £565 was too bad after all the discounts.

For that use save some money, a £350-400 laptop will do all that..

I might get 10% cashback on top making it £508 however which seems like a good buy, especially when on the Lenovo website it is £699.

When you look to buy a laptop first thing you look for (in your case) is a FHD IPS panel. That should narrow down your selection.

It's not worth having all the bells and whistles and you're stuck looking at a TN panel screen.

Besides the screen, is it a good laptop?

Personally I would buy a Ryzen laptop myself.

Concept of making a significant purchase from a foreign seller such as from the Lenovo UK website doesn't seem to bother many people.
Can only assume people have access to enforcing UK legislation where required via some other method (S75 maybe?) or just don't care.
