I know i have to take it apart, has anyone replaced their hard drives? thanks

Yes, I've replaced my PS4 HDD. Make sure you get the correct HDD for the PS4 and Follow these instriuctions > https://support.us.playstation.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5107/~/upgrade-ps4-hdd OR following the youtube video > youtube.com/wat…KSw

Stripping an external drive will invalidate the warranty on it. Better off buying an internal and keeping the warranty.

Isn't that a 3.5" Drive, if so IT WILL NOT FIT.

You need a SEAGATE Expansion STBX2000401 Portable Hard Drive - 2 TB, the easiest and proven PS4 HDD change in recent times and should be able to pick one up cheaper than this Desktop HDD.

It is a 3.5" mains powered external hdd, the drive inside it won't fit inside a ps4. You need a 2.5" drive OP Argos have a USB 3 seagate one for £69.99.
