    not bad for £300

I'm not sure how good the gpu is, but the rest of that kit is a decent deal at that price, I'm running a gtx 780 on those same specs and at 1080p I can game at 60fps+ on most modern titles at high details if not ultra. If you were to get that and put say, a gtx 1060 in it you'd be absolutely sorted for almost all modern titles at 1080p.

    I7 would be better.

You mind having a look at my latest post about a PC I've found and maybe a better one same price I've seen couple on amazon but as I say I'm not as wise as most on gaming pcs at the moment

That's quite an awesome build for £300, im still on an i3-4160 and a r9 270. I can play most new games at medium settings at 35 ish fps or low at a solid 60 fps. Bear in mind that my build cost me £300 and this was 2 years ago
But if i were you i would go for the build, maybe sell the GPU for around £50 and spend £200 on a GPU would get you a monster of a build that would last you 3 years or so.

I'm not saying it isn't a good deal, just saying an i7 would be better. Which it would, but you will still have a decent gaming machine at this price point.

Honestly, there rally no point in getting an i7 for gaming. A Haswell i5 is still good skylake would be better but it costs more. If you are going to stream or do some cool editing, an i7 would be appropriate, but it's not really worth it.

No it wouldn't unless he plays cpu intensive games which there aren't that many, then i5 is sufficient and the money should be spent on a gpu.

The guy said he played battlefield 1 beta on it? What's classed as intensive games these days! Will be new to PC gaming but this system should do, I'll be playing day z h1z1 wow etc also maybe video editing slightly just for YouTube an maybe stream through console? Any good for that and what upgrades should eventually follow?
