Is this laptop worth £200?

Have vouchers to spend at Currys, and need a new laptop. Is this a good price for what you get?

Specifications are limited on that unit so it depends on what your going to do with it.

2GB ram and that's its max so id say find something with more ram

If your stuck for funds but can spring to another £30 then theres this one which has more memory and a bigger harddrive

Thanks for that. Would you recommend that Advent laptop, and how do you think it compares to this one - pcworld.co.uk/gbu…tml

That is not a laptop, more a netbook.

10" screen

I have no experience with either but on the specifications the one I linked to has
Intel® Celeron® Processor 1017U (1.6 GHz, 2 MB cache)
whereas the one you listed is lower
AMD A4-1250 APU (1.0 GHz, 1 MB cache)

Other than that they seem pretty similar to me
Best bet is to go look at the two and see which you like the feel of but dont be expecting it to be superfast and supporting the latest high graphics games and such

Great, I may go with that Advent, has received good reviews from users as well.

Do an online search for further reviews just to be sure as PC World have a reputation for removing any malevolent ones

Check this one out and compare hotukdeals.com/dea…846 its from John Lewis so carries a 2 year warranty. Not Currys/PC world so maybe no use to you.
