mouse dropping are like tiny dark grains of rice

rat poop is much bigger and messier, about an inch long and disgusting.
Could be a lion. Watch out.
no sense of scale but looks like rat to me.
what do they taste like?
check, i bet they are raisins.

Yeah mouse poo, is a lot smaller than this, unless that is 20x zoom x
Thats a huge pipe and thats human poo.
Sir, you're rich.. See this
have you got footprints in your butter as well ? as it could be an elephant oO
They look raisins and are about the same size. Yeah I guess it's rat droppings as the field mice droppings at my parent's place looked like tiny pieces of black rice.

I've put down both mouse and rat traps so guess I'll find out soon enough!

Wait for it to stop dragging the mouse trap around and to go into the rat trap.

Hopefully a picture of a dead rat in a rat trap!
Seriously though op. It looks like rat droppings and you will need to take steps to get rid as they carry diseases. They will also gnaw on things and can cause electrical or other problems.
Best thing whilst you are dealing with the issue is to keep all food in cupboards or sealable containers and ensure you wash up any cooking utensils immediately.

Look around the skirting boards in case there is a hole that they are getting in. If you have one you probably have more as well.

Looks like something bigger than a mouse but smaller than an elephant.
