    Not really.

    Celeron CPU (slowest Intel CPUs)

    Vista Home Basic (poorest version of Vista and non-upgradable to Windows 7)

    Small hard drive (by todays standards)

    No monitor

    Its a Packard Bell (good enough reason in itself)

    It really depends what you are using it for. If all you want it for is to surf the internet and type up some documents then it is fine. If you want to be able to play ANY games on it I would say that one is not for you.

    No versions of Vista are upgradable to Windows 7 E and home basic will run all the programs Home premium will, it just lacks a couple of fancy features.

    It's a reasonable system, although you would need to add an extra 1GB of ram which would cost you an extra £10.

    There is no mention of the free upgrade to windows 7 which other retailers are participating in though so if you do want that then you're probably better off spending the £50 on a better PC and getting it 'free' rather than spending £50 to buy it.
