Is this PC worth the price?

I've been looking at HP Pavilion Elite M9373 for £869 at PC World but with my very limited knowledge on PCs now I would appreciate some experienced people to hopefully give their thumbs up. I'm not looking for the bargain of the century, as long as its not above the going rate then I'm happy to buy this:

    yes!!

do you get a monitor with that???:?

No monitor included, paying for performance with this.

This isnt a million miles away from that for a lot less money and with three years warranty

Definitely not worth it without a monitor, or at least it wouldn't have been a month ago. I don't know how much the falling pound against the dollar has pushed prices up though.

For comparison I built a Q6600 and 4850 system using high quality components (Akasa Eclipse Case, Asus P5Q pro, X-fi titanium, Gigabyte Passive 4850, Enermax Modu82+ PSU etc.) for the same price in mid-october.

Reading the spec it looks like the video card is on the board

Reckon you could get this for cheaper elsewhere.. I would suggest buying the aldi one mentioned above and put in a good graphics card for £180. With a dedicated graphics card that is using its own CPU you would get better performance anyway.
