Just a question about UV. I redeemed a bunch of codes eg Superman, The Dark Knight etc. It says available in SD & HD. Is HD 720p or 1080p?

I'm guessing if it's 5GB or above to download the film it will be 1080p?

I'd say so. Standard def is around 1.5gb for a film

I would have said 1080p would be well above 5gb, I downloaded the SD versions of the dark knight and I'm pretty sure they were around the 4gb mark each

You can't tell from the file size unless you know the quality (bitrate) of the film. 5GBs could be high quality 1280x720 or lower quality 1920x1080.

redeemed on Blinkbox ultraviolet is 720p. As for the others I'm trying to find that out

think I will stick to renting on Amazon guaranteed to get 1080p

Also what's the situation in the audio? 5.1 or 2.0

what devices/services can you redeem these ultraviolet codes from?

What is the quality of UV movies?
UV has two specifications, one for SD and one for HD. The SD specification is available up to 854x480p at 24 to 60 frames per second with Dolby Digital 5.1 or DTS-HD 5.1 channels. The HD specification has full HD 1080p24 resolution available and 7.1 channel DTS-HD Master Audio at 24.5Mbit/s or 7.1 channel Dolby TrueHD at 18Mbit/s being the top level audio specifications.
