I like Morrisons but only for certain items, if I had a car I'd go round all the supermarkets getting the best deals lol.

    LOL over £1
whatever you do don't enter sainsburys!! lol and do i dare mention waitrose

yeah it can be expensive for some items, worse with morrisons is they have offers on, advertise in papers / on tv then dont get the stock in while the offer is on, Shocking !!!!

Go to Netto for your usuals and pop in Morrisons if they got a good deal on something, they do have a lot of good offers, see them posted up all time. Sometimes they compettive for comp games aswell.

Yeah i think its a rip off!

All the decent offers BOGOF's are on the end of the isles so they are the only things i buy.

i do this, when we do our shop we go to tesco, morrisons, asda and sainsburys, end up spending a fortune though !!!!

steak vaires in price from how big it is.
i'd sooner get meat from a decent english supermarket than from netto/aldi etc.
better still get it from your butcher.

Offs Co-Op surely has to be the dearest, had a wee wander round our local Co-Op the other day, nearly died when I seen how much they wanted for a 10 pack of Capri Sun.

She doesn't she "borrows" the things she wants from Co-Op, Sainsburys and Iceland.

Morrisons and Asda are the cheapest.

By far Tescos is the more expensive then Sainsburys. Advertisement is so clever.

the all do this to get you into the shop, i remember when the last harry potter boook came out, asda were selling it at less than they bought it for as it got you into the shop so you would buy more of their crap

fillet steak may have been expensive but right next to it would be rib eye or rump at half price or reduced....thats how they work

also you havnt said the weight of the picec of steak....were they the same?or how much per kg difference

i find morrisons to be cheap in general and they usualyy have offers on whatever i want even if it meand changing brands occasopnally or even varying the cut of meat i eat

    netto lmao

You can not class the Co-op in the same bracket as the other Supermarkets, as they are very much local convenience shops located in the high street and small villages and there prices have to reflect the cost of being there and the hours they open, ie all day sundays.

I love Aldis diluting orange juice and the maple hams they sell.

i stock up on stuff in lidl's with things like tinned food, rice, noodles and if theres any decent special offers on.
get nice stuff from waitroses and sainsburys,
and get meat from either the butchers, farm shops or waitroses.

depends on what wine you drink, personally i cant drink cheap cask wines and no brand cheap labels with sub standard grapes and god knows what else in them.....fish bones n stuff believe it or not

same as bread i only eat fresh bread not packed up stuff...... as for the steak i had a decent rib eye for around a fiver last week from morrisons 3-400 grams you dont seem to have choisen a like for like by the sounds of it or at least give us price per kg how u compared it to get it defintly dearer

no food snobbery but i like to eat decent food , my days of choosing food because its sub quality cheap or about to go off are long gone

I shop online mainly, got Ocado coming this Saturday night, £30 off too, sometimes I use Waitrose, mainly when vouchers about for £10-15. Previous 2 online shops in last mth or so I had £10 twice for Tesco. Occasionly use Sainsburys, they send vouchers out when you not used them for a while.
Tried Asda once, they were good too, used free delivery code.
Locally we got a Aldi,Iceland,Netto and Farmfoods,I use all them for a few bits here and there, don't care about going in them, partner will drop by M&S for certain items too,we got Somerfield too but they not very good I don't think.

sainburys jam doughnuts from their instore bakery - nuff said

    wish we had a netto!!

I do my main shop asdas home delivery then somerfield for there offers .

I must be the only 1 that likes morrisons if you go half hour b4 closing they reduce all pies bread /chickens etc that are freshly baked that day so are ok 2 freeze or have the day after .
you can usually get 4 pies for under a pd and have had 24 baps for less than 50p i usually share with my dad as he is now on his own

    agreed....very expensive
