All she left me was 20 pence

    Usually £2 here .

Surely health and safety would have concerns about leaving coins underneath childrens pillows! Must be a least a £5 note

he got £10 when it was taken out in hospital plus a wii..the most expensive tooth in the world lol

He did have tonsils and adenoids out at the same time and was his 2nd op that year!

generally £2 coin and a little note cos he loves to read them..

    Tell the truth, leave nothing

my nephew was trying to pull a tooth..determined even to the point of using string and a slammed door lol

    Could just leave an IOU.

I leave £2.50 for the child that looses the tooth and for the other i leave 50p and say the tooth fairy looked at your teeth and was happy at how you have been looking after them! X

    nothing, zip, nada

sorry but true, not paying for teeth I made in the first place oh and as a side have you watched The Tooth Fairy, brilliant learning little girls that if a man comes in yr room and says he's the tooth fairy and to keep it secret then its ok, just saying, dont want to start a war, thats just what hit me about the film.

I used to get £1 and leave a note asking to keep the tooth (obviously … I used to get £1 and leave a note asking to keep the tooth (obviously didn't re-use same tooth, parents aren't stupid), I have them all at home still, funny to see how tiny they are.But you could store the teeth for when they are older instead.

geez ud look like somebody from indiana Jones then!!!!

20p when i was a kid, the tight wads!!
then again i guess it taught me the actual value of money in a way

    under five £1, over 5 £2

    Bully

    under five £1, over 5 £2

Did that wrong way round! Should be under 5 £2 and over 5 £1 as not many kids lose any teeth at 4 lol

I have kept 1 tooth from each of my girls in their tooth box.

Have kept one tooth from each - used to tell them the fairies use them as bricks for building fairy houses X)

our tooth fairy will be using http://pocketnow.com/html/portal/news/0000010216//paypal-cards.jpg so after fees will be left with £3.29 + 50p transfer fee

when i was a kid used to get 50p thought i was loaded still kept the pretence when i knew it was my mum lol

my sons first tooth is about to fall out (hopefully not before wednesday, school photos lol) i was having this convo with the hubby, we discussed it with the boy as i gather the teacher has mentioned the tooth fairy because i said they make little statues out of them and he said no my teacher said they make a road (what.... never heard anything like that before) i asked the boy did she say how much the tooth fairy leaves you he said no it depends on how clean your tooth is, and then said his was very clean and do you think the tooth fairy knows her pin number????? i am very concerned now as to how much he thinks this tooth is worth lol i have imagined him putting a chip and pin machine under his pillow along with his tooth

when i was little i always got 50p i remember the once waking and finding a pound i was well excited years later my mum said she was gutted as that was the smallest coin she had at that time

Sorry only just got back on some interesting comments..lol....

Well i was brushing my 6yr olds teeth this morning and slipped then...opppssss his tooth was hanging on for its life...then he pulled it out..errr.... i was sick of him knocking it about from side to side it was knocking me sick..haaa.

Anyway after asking u all what you leave for your children...my lad has gone to bed and left his tooth in the bathroom so there will be no tooth fairy coming tonight...thought about taking the tooth and leaving the money under his pillow but he might be upset that i the tooth fairy has taken it without him putting it under.

He looks like a vampire now two front teeth missing..lol
