Are you using the words 'immigrant' and 'refugee' interchangeably or do you genuinely not think there's a difference?

awwww 'refugee', or 'immigrant', such moving language... seems some of the people throwing huge logs in front of trucks are pretty flexible on interchangeably using either term too.

You get points for using a slightly less dated reference than the OP.

Seriously OP, 99% of people under the age of 50 aren't going to get that reference. Essentially your joke is 'doesn't Corbyn look like an old man'.

    Yes. Yes he does.

No, not moving language at all. Put simply then mean two difference things which is why I asked if you were aware there was a difference.

Legally they have different meanings. If you don't know then that's ok.

oh legally? in that case let me check with my counsel

he says he agrees there is a difference, not that economic migrants or refugees who hate the UK care.

    precisely!

Military leaders and MPs branded Jeremy Corbyn “dangerous” today after he refused to say he would always defend a Nato member from being invaded by Russia.

Lord West, the former Naval commander and ex-Labour minister, said the “extraordinary” refusal undermined a military alliance that has kept peace in Western Europe for 70 years.

He said the Labour leader’s stance would actually make wars more likely if he became Prime Minister, adding: “As we know from history, if bullies are allowed to make little gains, they just push harder.”

He is far more dangerous than Trump or Hillary, In fact if Trump got into power I think Corbyn could ruin our relationship with the US. That would leave us totally defenseless. No nukes, no allies and a breeding ground for terrorists, Real scary stuff :(.

Politics is very serious, politics takes serious lies to pretend all 'refugees' are looking to contribute to the UK positively.

I love his idea that areas of the country suffering from mass immigration will have money pumped into them, I think he has got the wrong idea on how to win labour voters back.

I'd have thought a refugee would be happy to seek asylum in the first safe country they arrive in (them's the rules). In my opinion any refugee who rejects those rules and is prepared to break the law/commit violent acts to enter his country of choice (people described by Corbyn as refugees) ceases to be a refugee and becomes an economic migrant.

I do like Corbyn's honesty approach but that's all that I like about him.

He's totally destroyed any chance of Labour becoming an opposition and/or winning any general election. Hopefully any upcoming local elections will prove that he's not got the right policies. It's likely that UKIP will gain more or any party that has an understanding of what free movement and immigration has caused and why the majority voted for Brexit.

Yes we need some immigrants but we need those that give back, that integrate and that want to be part of this wonderful country. We don't need anyone who wants to take from it, change it or force their culture upon us - we've done and were doing absolutely brilliant up until the gates were opened.

agree completely, he has no idea how many lifelong labour voters will not vote for him, because he surrounds himself with left wing idealists who agree with him. it's a bit like Cameron giving a speech at Eton and coming away smug because they cheered him.

In truth , every leader has destroyed his/her party winning next round: Cameron, Clegg, Johnson, Thatcher, Blair, Brown, Milliband 1, Milliband 2...as in going for the middle England and shift slightly to right, there has been a large fraction developed since 40 years, the forgotten lot, same in USA, the forgotten lot that Trump appeals to. Next general election would be >4 parties slicing up the 2 X 50% (Tory and Labour) with Labour split into Lab 1 and Lab 2. Possibly Tory spilt into Tory leave and Tory exit.

All refugees are welcome by any politcial party in accordance of EU Law and Policy loc.gov/law…php
    .
They are all part and parcel of EU Foreign Policy (headed by UK, Germany, France and Italy) in their interventions outside of the EU.
    .
They have all welcomed them during Thatcher, Major, Blair , Brown , Cameron...until Farage kicked the door down.

You can definitely use "immigrants", "refugees" , "asylum seekers", Torys, Labour, Greens, UKIP... etc., all interchangeably as they all have to comply to EU law and policy as it stands now. And moreover, international law as UK will not wriggle out of international law even if we escaped EU.
