    Job Interview.... awaiting outcome!

I went to an interview this tuesday, it went really well, better than I hoped tbh. The lady said that she would contact me in a few days with an offer for my consideration.

I haven't recieved any emails yet and she told me she was going on hoilday on Monday. Does anyone think if she doesn't contact me by 6pm today, should I email her tommorow morning? Or is that being abit pushy???

    All advice welcome

she said she'd contact you... you emailing her wont change her decision.. having said that, if anything it may change it for the worse.

    do not email.

    No I would wait GL

Thank you.. I don't think I can cope being cooped up at home for much longer. My sanity is on the line!

she will probably be passing all the information about the job position to a colleague to deal with whilst she is on holiday.

the new starter will need someone to liaise with to arrange a start date, etc... which wont be possible if the only staff capable of employing is on holiday for 2 weeks.

i would phone up on Monday, she wont be in, but you can tell a regular staff member that you were expecting an update on the current job position.

Friday seems too early, as they will probably be doing interviews for the full week.

The thing is it really is a small company... only 3 members of staff and she is the director. I don't think anyone else will be dealing with the "offer" so to speak. Actually all 3 people were there at the interview however she did confirm that it would be herself getting back to me.

ahh i see, theres me thinking you were getting a job at Microsoft

just wait it out then as others have posted.

and if you do need to contact them,... avoid using emails, as they can easily be lost in spam or not even read for days... use the telephone.

and keep the phone number you gave them close by, as i seriously doubt she will offer you a job via email.

Really? omg! That's so rude :x. Thanks for your best wishes, I hope you too find work soon

wait til monday mid-day, if no contact then phone up, and be entirely honest. Your not talking to a machine. If they say they don't want you, ask why and what you could improve upon for next time. Then get drunk and play ping pong!
