you do that, i never said i was right but being a female the chances are pretty high, like 100%

Research the company on the web before you go for the interview, it will show that your interested in the post.

If you don't know the answer to a question don't try and blag it. Just say that you don't know but you will find out when you get back home.

Another tip is that the interviewer can also be nervous,l I always try to make them feel relaxed too.

I had a highly technical interview and there were some questions I just didn't have an answer to - although I didn't get the job, the interviewer did mention that they had been impressed I had been honest and just straight up said when I didn't know. Admittedly though these days to be good at getting jobs you need to be able to lie through your teeth about what you can do...personally I prefer to be honest simply because I don't want to end up in a job I can't do properly!

Recently had a guy who started work with the company who must have been entirely dishonest as when he started work it was clear he didn't have any of the experience he claimed. He didn't last long as he was completely useless, he was creating additional work so he was given the boot...however he's not changed, telling everyone that he was given the boot because he was too efficient and they had no need for that position! It does leave me wondering if honesty is the best policy...

I would like to offer advice but can't as I'm rubbish at interviews, I get very nervous and I'm not good at hiding it either. One interview involved building a PC which wouldn't have been a problem normally but trying to do it in a suit with shaky hands made it a bit more challenging getting all those little screws in.

United - good luck with the interview, if nothing else it's good to get interview experience.

have you not seen trainspotting ?

speed worked for spud so !!!!!

do you want the job but do you even know what the job really is ? ask and find out , dont allow the usual sales patter ask them questions , seem keen ( thats if you want it ) , bright and happy gets the position , no-one wants to work with some boring sod who sits there looking blank , i got a near 100% sucess by simply being happy , friendly and confident , clueless dumb and distant doesnt cut it , smile

Good Luck for today, hope all goes well and let us know it went for you.

Good luck for this morning united

I think of some obvious questions they are going to ask ... pre prepare answers for them. Means if it is intensive you get a breather every now and again when they ask you something you were expecting.

When they ask you at the end, if you have any questions, ask them my killer line....

"Is there anything that I havent answered satisfactorily?"

    They will love it.
