What are people experiences with delivery(times, time to deliver, etc..) from john lewis. Recently ordered a tv from them and its gonna take 14 days for it to get delivered.

not too bad i suppose, if you have a set in the house that works, lol

My sister ordered a laptop from them and it was delivered in two days. She was pleased with their service and the two years free warranty.

I haven't ordered from them in a while but I've always had quick deliveries in the past Maybe the tv was being sent directly from the manufacturer?

im an odd one then

i've emailed them, lets see if they reply.

ordered a leather sofa a couple years ago, came with free delivery. it arrived and they tell you when to expect it (unlike most deliveries like currys, argos, ikea - they're a waste of time). the JL van drives up and the guys are very polite (we were on third floor, no lift boo hoo) and they even asked if we needed help to set it up. i'd always order from them, services no problem so far touch wood.

its more the time its taking not the service itself. not had a problem but the delivery time is a pain in the ass

Ordered an iPod delivered in 2 days!

we too had to wait 10-14 days delivery of our TV, I think they have to wait for delivery to their warehouse direct from the suppliers as Sadie has said, well worth it as the service is so friendly.

TV ordered from JL 28/12, will be delivered 9/1. Not too bothered as have a working (albeit tiny!) TV. Would always prefer to wait a few days longer for the excellent customer service JL always provides.

Most John Lewis online stuff nowadays seems to be delivered by Home Delivery Network who, generally, are truly awful - unless you're at home all day and quick on your feet! You need to go to the shops to have a chance of getting it delivered by John Lewis' own vans.
