Currently this broadband provider seems to be the cheapest for 12 month contract £25 a month. This provider any good? Or should I go with a different provider? which then I would need to go into an 18 month contract which I'm not sure is a good or bad idea since these broadband providers seem to hike up their prices whilst in contract.

Take a look at 1pbroadband.com as they start at £19.99 with £30 connection charge.
Now TV is currently £22 a month including anytime calls, nowtv.com/bro…and
As mas99 say's, John Lewis broadband is run by Plusnet, I've been with them for a couple of years now and not had any problems but I'm on standard broadband we have no fibre available to us as we're out in the sticks.
