Join the AA for £30 then get £21 cashback with quidco!

Just noticed on the quidco website that if you join the AA on their roadside assistance package, they give you £21 cashback. This makes the deal worth a crazy £9

Sorry that it's not a new offer, didn't realise although hopefully will help people who have missed it before. Apparently they have sorted there quidco cashback now I've been reliably informed

If you go to the who is covered section, it is only for cars under 10 years old, If you change it to cover yourself it jumps to £41.93

Probably best to ring them up if you're an existing member. Told them I had a better price (which is true) and they threw upgrades at me.

Watch it they may not pay up the cashback

Cold from me I'm afraid, based on the fact they discriminate against cars over 10 years old!

I did this in the summer, tracked and then declined. Reason they said conflicting cookies which was rubbish. So no payout. Happened to lots of people.

hows is it discriminating, on average older cars break down more, so cover should cost more!

What a class deal. Heat added. Saved me a little bit of money. So I'm happy.

Sounds like a good deal. Yesterday I bought the £28 membership with £2500 nectar points. Wish I'd known about this one yesterday.

Well you should not really be driving a car older than that anyway. I get a new car every three years and think that anything older than 10 years old should be scraped to be honest.

What a ridiculous statement to make !

Your either very lucky in being able to afford a new car or your a receiver of a company car .

Either way get off your high horse .

It's only a good deal if Quidco , or other cashback , gets paid .

I'd rather keep my 20 year old 550bhp 300ZX thank you very much. I just love the fact it pumps about 350 g/km into the atmosphere too.

RAC also offer cashback via Quidco so I tend to alternate them each year. Just remember to cancel before it automatically renews! This way you can get cashback annually and both AA and RAC have tracked and paid fine for me.

What a silly reply, not everyone can do that

And why is it ridculous statement to make. It is only a fact if you can only afford to drive a car that is older than 10 years old then you should not be driving. Most cars over 10 years old are a danger on the roads and should be scrapped in my opinion.

Beware no cashback for me last time also

    Glad you posted! thanks

AA denied my quidco claim so i called them to terminate and they ended up giving me the same in discount so ok in the end i suppose

has anybody got paid out by any cashback site?

Moved to Misc as this is a quidco 'heads up'

Why are older cars such a danger? Cars made in 2000 were generally pretty safe and not ticking time bombs. Would be nice to have the surplus cash to buy a new car every 3 years.

Most cars made this millennium are dull and uninspiring. I'd rather have a car at least 15 years old - they have character... and if you look after them, they break down less often than most modern cars. And if they do break down you can usually fix them at the roadside thanks to their simplicity rather than having to have them towed away and get ripped off by main dealer prices.
