should be ok,

they'll need to be put into a clear plastic bag though.

thats fine, but in clear plastic bag, and each thing can only be 100mg max, upto max bag contents of 1k, (thats if its the same as it was for me last year!!)

Anything liquid needs to be in a plastic bag, like liquid make up/moisturiser etc.

I just put lipstick and mascara in the hand luggage.

Each thing can be a max of 100ml and you can have a max of 1 litre of liquids. The liquids have to go in a clear bag that cannot be tied or knotted at the top. The bag can be a max of 20cm by 20cm.

If not, buy in a boots in Dublin. Or the boots in departures (After the security). That way you get nice new stuff cheaper than paying for a suitcase in the hold.

be careful with buying at Duty Free after going through security, we just got back flying with ryanair and went through security and bought cigarettes for my sister, they would not let us on the plane with them - said we had to be able to fit them in our carry on, which was obviously full
