    Just found out...

    Im pregnant!!

What good freebies are there for babies / pregnant mams? Last time round (5years ago) all freebies seemed to be just leaflets, just wondered if there had been any change!

Im so excited!!! Think this will be a long pregnancy though as im only a few weeks gone!

Do you have to go out of your way to be obnoxious, or does it just come naturally?

    Congrats OP.

    Congratulations

Would suggest waiting a bit then joining tesco, sainsburys and boots baby clubs - they all give really good stuff free. Some of them you have to be X amount of months pregnant though I think. The boots one you used to get a voucher for mum to treat herself to a number 7 product if you joined by 3 months I think, not sure if you still do.

    Congratulations!! That's lovely news.:-D

    congrats ...

all of these have good mum & baby clubs

    pampers.co.uk
boots.com (get vouchers and free change bag)
    tesco mum & baby
babies r us have a parenting club send you loads of money off cots/highchairs etc
huggies nappies have a club you get some vouchers etc
emmas diary you will get in your preggy pack when you see m,idwife first time
bounty you automatically get aswell thru midwife
    hipp baby food
mam sometimes do free bottles or dummys

also most important one they now do is the health in preggy grant from the government

    campaigns2.direct.gov.uk/mon…en/

everyone gets it as long as you are 25 weeks gone doesnt matter what you earn etc i think it is £190 one of payment.

I got loads of stuff from Freecycle for my son - and now have passed it on to other families for free as he has grown out of it... it was all in nice condition and we saved loads of money - people thought we were strange for taking second hand free stuff for the baby - but it meant there was more money to spend on the things he would enjoy! I would recommend it to anyone - if you get something that you don;t want to use you don;t have to - but so much baby stuff is used for such a short time that it doesn't have time to get worn and old before being passed on!

When u go to the hospital they give u a new papy pack, with a load of free stuff to apply for, and inside there is a coupon for a free pack of new baby nappies.

    Congratulations

    congrats

Think this will be a long pregnancy though

id say it might be about 9 months...
