i can beat that.....

had delivery today, i handed back 4 bottles of tonic water that i noticed wasnt mine before driver left, unpacking the extra by mistake i got.....2 bags of potatoes, large jar coffee, jar of mincemeat, jordans cereal x 2, 6 eggs, selection boxs and some orange juice! I called Asda and was told as a gesture of goodwill and it being their fault i could keep them, great, just a shame it wasnt nothing i needed or would use....sent it to my mums

season of good will had to give him something lol :santa:

Once it has been delivered and they have left, they are not allowed to take it back. Ive been on the other side too and had shopping missing on a delivery. Thats why I went and did my shopping today and not have it delivered - tho it sounds like I may have had a free turkey if I did! :-D

Not thieves, good to see

They would have had to binned it if he took it back as they can't guarantee the temperature during transit. Nice of him to do it though. Most would have still taken it back.
