Just recieved an email from choicesuk -seems a bit odd to me help if poss!

Ordered the ps3 deal for £199.99 yesterday and today found this in my inbox:
I am writing further to your recent order:

"Because your order is of a large value and also because it is your first order with us - we will need additional proof of identity before we can proceed with the order for you.

This is to ensure that your card is not being used without your knowledge.

Please can you contact me on 0870 4003838 so that I may take your full card details and billing address to confirm that this is a genuine order. You can call between the hours of 9am to 8pm Monday to Friday.

Your order will not be processed until we hear back from you with this information. If I do not hear from you within the next 5 days I will cancel your order.

    Many Thanks

Just seems a bit odd to me, the message subject was left blank and ive never had to do this for any other website.
My order status on the webstie is incomplete which would follow this, but the info they seem to want i have already provided on the order form anyway so i just dont get it. Any help would be much appreciated!

i had to do this with play.com last year its should be okay just double check the contact details on the website before giving your details tthough

give them a ring and get them to give you some info before you give them your details!

think of some security questions only someone at choicesuk would know about your account/order etc.

or go to choicesuk website and ring number shown on there.

Yeah play.com do the same, should be fine...

I don't know if it is just me, but every time I have received an item from choices it has been damaged in the post.

They don't seem very good at packing the items.

This is normal practice for ChoicesUK, so don't worry.

See ]this thread. The OP is someone who had a similar letter, and the last post in the thread is by a representative of ChoicesUK.
