    Already done,lol.
Sent them my house title deeds for security against the 500,000, had to or they wouldn't release the monies,

look on the bright side.. at least the money is staying in britain and not going to nigeria or something:oops:

While those of us who use computers a lot laugh at these scams, there are plenty of people who fall for them.

See here just last week where the police raided a property and found 22,000 cheques for a lottery scam.

If you have any friends, relatives (perhaps elderly), or other people you know who are NOT computer savvy it may be helpful to point out to them that not everything they receive via an email is true.

I know not all scams come via emial, some come via the post, but some people, particularly older people who may have grown up in a more trusting time, do fall for them. Perhaps spend a bit of time with them explaining how these scams work.

After all, you dont want to see your elderly grannie scammed out of thousands of pounds.

That's why I post them here as when someone googles the details of the scam then hopefully will find this post read it and find that its a dodgy email letter etc..

a professional automobile/lottery company with an @hotmail.co.uk email address... seems legit' to me.

Thanks for the details........just claimed on your behalf. :w00t: I'm rich, rich i tell ya.

    LOL at "Mr Rice Cooke"

I would call him and play along with it as much as possible to waste his time. It does look like a valid telephone number?

I won that last week, and it hasnt changed me a bit - im still the same person

Its obvious how good they are being giving this money away since they cant even afford their own e-mail servers any more and are having to rely on Hotmail. you should send them a really nice thankyou letter aswell.

Congratulations mate, how do you plan to spend your winnings?

found another one this time its BMW who also run lottery from hotmail account
