just wondering if this would work.....

just wondering if anyone has done this and/or would it work.....
if you get one of those cheap phones with an 18 month contract or somthing they seem to offer you really good deals.....
i'm just wondering if its possible and that it would be a good idea if i got one of those deals and just used the sim in a separate payg phone....
for example.....if i signed up to this deal

    e2save.com/mob…L09

    600 mins....unlimited texts.....effective cost £5.66

and then just changed the sim over to a phone of my choice.....
would the sim/phone still work no matter what phone i used (as long as unlocked or on that company.....)

then maybe sell the phone and use the deal as basically a very cheap sim only deal......?

has anyone dont this before? or is it a good idea?

sorry if this doesnt make sense lol

The answer is yes (but you would be paying £££££ for a decent SIM FREE phone, which would be subsidised if you got the phone & tariff package in the 1st place)

No reason why you cant do this, the phone is only an incentive to take up the deal.

As ChrisUK says, yes it will work my hubby done the same when he got a contract phone.

PS Dont forget quidco for a further £55 cashback, or possibly topcashback (not signed up yet so cant check) you would end up paying about £47 for the term before you have even sold the phone

    :thumbsup:Effective cost £2.61pm

not sim free (thats ridiculous) just a phone that is either unlocked (maybe got it via carphone warehouse or somewhere else) or get a phone that is already on the network.
I wouldnt be getting an expensive phone because that would kinda defeat the object of getting this very cheap deal lol

thanks for all your help....might just be doing that now lol
