Hello everyone, I managed to get my hands on one of the £49.99 Argos EBay Kenwood Multione machines about a month ago. Today I received an email from Argos eBay saying the they'd like to cancel the purchase and are awaiting my 'action'. If I don't reply by 5th January then they will be able to cancel without my consent. Any idea what this means? Surely they don't expect me to return it , do they? I'm puzzled in all honesty. Grateful for any help.

It's a generic email as they oversold
Contact them and say you have the item and are happy to keep it-sorted?

You think? I do hope so, because they've taken their sweet time to send this email. I've had it for ages now.

Yes - it's happened to me and many others a number of times when they have accepted their eBay payment but then need to request cancellation as too many acceptances not enough products ( more than 10 available thing?)
They may eventually rectify this once they get their stock control matched correctly

At least you are being honest with them as some may have got their order then agree cancellation in the hope they also get a refund
The original "have your cake & eat it too" I guess but they always get caught out in the end-what if they need to claim for a fault?
They will never request the product back- why would they?
