Vegan millennial soya latte squad roll outtttt
It will probably be still fried in the same oil as chicken!
Gloucester Road, London branch have had it for a while. When I tried it a few months ago sadly it wasn’t very good. Hopefully it’s been improved. I’m vegan so it’s good to have more junk options though.

Apparently so; well, in Canada anyway...

I eat meat.
I eat veg.

I'm not particularly keen on KFC's attempt to lure more folk in for their cack "food" ...So much advertising, so little actual taste

Badly fried chicken with bad welfare standards, especially in the "states"

If this is the best fried chicken you've ever eaten, then you really haven't much experience of fried chicken. (which is a shame).

I've recently tried a few veggie burgers & frankly a good wonky veg & potato burger covered in crumb still wins for me when I fancy less meat.

cheap, affordable, & not so heavy on the salt.
£3.99 for burger with no sides. I’ll pass and make my own at home

Part of the decision was down to public demand (as only salad & corn cob options were available previously) &, no doubt, there was also a Corporate choice to evolve with current trends to remain relevant before they find their established customer-base migrates to other outlets.

Offering the public the option to try plant-based options that resemble (&/or taste similar to) the conventional products has to be praised. Not everybody is keen to eat less meat but perhaps making a replacement product that they recognise as "a burger" may tempt a proportion to try the alternate food they have been avoiding.

Until they introduce gluten-free burger options to go with the vegetarian/vegan options, then I'll still be eating elsewhere, though.
They used to sell a cracking veggie burger, which among other things had a hash brown in it.
KFC must try harder with their Black Country geography:

  • Birmingham Great Bridge (the clue's in the name, I will accept Tipton at a push) - Great Bridge Retail Pk
  • Dudley Brierley Hill - Merry Hill Food Court
  • Dudley Brierley Hill - Merry Hill Drive Thru

That’s the one. It was dry and tasteless. Really hope it’s been improved.

It's actually cooked separate in an oven 😁
