Kids and London Underground

    A question really ?

I'm taking my two kids one' 8 on fri others 6.To London for the day on sat (to go see Santa at Harrods and my son wants to see the palace).

I have been a lot my husband used to live there so we know the tubes well but have never taken kids with us!. Iv just had a look on oyster and it says children from 5-11 travel free on buss and underground as long as they are accompanied by an adult or with a oyster photo card if there alone(of which they wont be ).

just wanted to know if anyone knows more about this and if is free for them ?

    hope somone can help

We went a few months ago with our 8, 6 and 5yr olds. It was free all day for them

    Enjoy !

your children are free they dont need an oyster card if they do need a pass cos the rules may have chnaged then you can get them a cheap day pass
