Kids winter wetsuit

Hi I need a bit of advice. I’m after a winter wetsuit 5/4mm for my 11 year old son. I want something that will keep him warm but preferably sub £80. Has anyone any ideas / voucher codes for water sports shops? Many thanks

Thanks but I think they are mainly 3mm. I’m looking to take him surfing this month in Ireland so will need a 5mm suit to keep him warm. Thanks for the link though

I saw that suit but unfortunately they don’t have his size. Thanks for the link though
Got mine from amazon
You’re going to struggle with that budget. Ideally you’d want a 6/5/4mm with hood, example: wetsuitcentre.co.uk/o-n…tml

No problem, closest I could find with a guesstimate on height and the lowish budget for big brand.
All my kids get second hand suits off eBay as they last a year maybe two
If you want one that going to work properly you'll need a perfect fit. Only way to guarantee that is to try some on in store. If it's not fitting correctly water will flush through it and make him cold.

It needs to trap a thin layer of water against his body, which his body heat warms and keeps him comfortable. Any flushing and you're constantly losing body heat.

Yeah I got his summer suit for £5 off eBay but I can’t see too many for his age currently. I’ll keep checking eBay periodically, have you heard of Osprey suits or Legacy? They are sub £50 so probably junk but look ok https//ro…680
